The Solano County Fair will host a full eleven days of live horse racing this summer!  This year’s meet will run from Wednesday, July 9 through Sunday, July 13, go dark for two days, and then resume racing on Wednesday, July 16 through closing day on Monday, July 21.  First post time is 12:35 p.m. each racing day.

                                                                                                           

2008 plans to be a great year for Solano County Fair horse racing!  As always, we are looking forward to a quality race meet, including several stakes races, featuring mules, Arabian, Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred fields.  We plan on adding to your fun this year with a few new promotions, particularly in the second week of the meet.  Additionally, we will be refurbishing our race boxes with new paint and chairs and giving our Grandstand a landscaping “face lift”.

 

From July 9-13, daily racing tickets as well as Box Seat tickets also include admission to the annual Solano County Fair.  This year we will “Celebrate Solano” with five days of non-stop entertainment, including a fireworks show each evening, along with nightly headline entertainment in the Concert Arena and three nights of exciting action in the Sports Arena.
